I'g selling this Blocking Frame for my lace designer friend, Sharon Winsauer. You lot might know her as the Crazy Lace Lady.

FSOT: Bergthora Spinning bike
A petty over a year ago, I contacted John about making a lateral Quill wheel for me. The consequence was the Bergthora bicycle.
I have tried very hard to love this cycle. She is a slap-up wheel. Patently, I cannot manage to get my body to work well with a single treadle wheel. And so the problem is entirely with me. With that in mind, I would like to sell or trade my Bergthora.
She is a left facing wheel. I have just used the quill, but I practice have the flyer and a set of 4 bobbins. I had to switch out the leather strap to the treadle with a chip of macramé cord, and I have been using a poly bulldoze band from another wheel on her. The wheel comes with 4 bands. Also, in that location is a "care and feeding" PDF that will exist emailed to the buyer with payment, or I can print it and send it along in a alive exchange.
I would like to go $200 for her. I would as well be willing to trade for $200 worth of worsted or heavier Alpaca, Silk or Cotton yarn or processed spinning fiber. I cannot utilize sheep wool, I volition break out. I might be interested in trading for a spindle for part of the toll, or mayhap a frame loom.

For sale is my beloved Cooper Normandy single treadle bicycle, purchased in 2002, which has been collecting grit hither in Seattle for the concluding 10 years. FS: Betty Roberts wheel
Virtually new Betty Roberts wheel for sale. I have wanted 1 of these for ages and jumped at the chance to purchase a new one directly from Betty, just unfortunately it arrived at most the same time as my Olympic wheel and is not receiving the beloved it deserves. The Olympic is the spinning honey of my life, and I'd like the Betty Roberts wheel to go to a domicile where she will get a lot more use than she's getting here. I don't think I've even spun two full bobbins on it.
It is made from gorgeous Catalpa wood, and the inlay is a deep bluish. Information technology comes with the original lazy kate and 8 bobbins.
I'd similar to go back the $2100 I invested in the wheel if possible. Betty no longer maintains a waiting listing, so whatever new buyers have to accept a take chances on whether she's making the model you desire when yous're ownership. I ordered new and received information technology on 3/xxx/2015 so I have had information technology ane twelvemonth. I love it for its versatility, but because I'thousand using antique saxony wheels 85% of the time, this spends most of the fourth dimension in the sleeping accommodation, and information technology is but besides pretty for that! I'd prefer to find a local buyer, but I do have all original aircraft materials. Postage would be pretty pricey as the box is big.
I also simply caused impairment in our firm, so I programme on downgrading to a cheaper bicycle and then nosotros tin can pay for drywall repairs. I love this bicycle!
The patina has grown beautiful in the 1 year I've had it. The treadles accept interesting grain, simply I like information technology. The cycle is in the same condition as new. All original accessories are included, medium and fast whorl, threading/orifice hook, hex wrench, original driveband never used, lazy Kate, 4 ruby-red bobbins, shoulder strap, and teaching transmission and original tag. Shipping box too. I'm besides including a niggling Vera Bradley instance which makes a nice spinning basket for accessories, and a hand made filament orifice threader. Also, there is an extra maiden screw. He original i wasn't glued properly so Schacht sent a replacement. They also said I could mucilage the original, which I did and it works fine.
Too, I cut out sheep pare to put on the treadles. I just set them on and spun one project, and didn't add together straps to hold on ameliorate.
I will also be selling accessories separately.
